We have a position for a Accela Systems Administrator with one of our clients in Atlanta, GA for an initial contract duration of 5 months. US citizens and all those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.

Provides varied and advanced level administrative and support services to an assigned department. Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. This is a fully seasoned professional level capable of independently carrying out most assignments typical of the profession.  This level would be attainable by multiple incumbents in a work group (not necessarily by all) but would not be an "automatic" promotional level. Expertise in Accela software application. Analyze, identify, test, and implement business process solutions to fit Accela Civic Platform. Provide support during All phases of projects to help resolve issues and to minimize disruptions.  Responsible for documenting and developing automation for process needs.

Supervision Received:

Work under very general supervision.  Depending on organization structure, may work independently with responsibility for an assigned function or program. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
  • Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
  • Typical projects assigned might include issues affecting multiple systems or departments, software selection, or significant changes in processes.
  • Configures system settings and options.
  • Plans and executes business unit, integration and acceptance testing.
  • Creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
  • Designs details of automated systems.
  • May provide consultation to users regarding automated systems.
  • Writing reports

Decision Making

  • Selects from multiple procedures and methods to accomplish tasks.  Applies organizational policies; may interpret organizational policies and recommend exceptions. 
  • Establishes work methods, timetables, performance standards, etc.

Leadership Provided:

  • Routinely provides work group leadership, guidance, and/or training to less experienced staff.  May lead cross functional team to address business issues.
