Systems Administrator III

Job Description

We have a position for a Systems Administrator III with one of our clients in Atlanta, GA for an initial contract duration of 9 months. US citizens and all those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.

Under broad supervision, installs, configures, and supports a local area network, wide area network, internet system, computers, desktops and/or mobile devices.

• Ability to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks and supports the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems
• Responsible for design, configuration, scripting, testing, debugging, and documentation
• Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
• Performs systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery and file maintenance.
• Responds to customer reports of problems, system performance anomalies, and /or general inquiries. Includes application code troubleshooting and design, programming, testing, and debugging of software patches/fixes
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
• Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
• Monitors and maintains software licensing and maintenance agreements
• Prepares activity and status reports regarding the activities to which they are assigned, and any other duties and/or responsibilities as may be determined appropriate by the employee’s direct supervisor.
