AI Product Management, Principal AI Solution Architect

Job Description

We have a position for a AI Product Management, Principal AI Solution Architect with one of our clients in Remote for an initial contract duration of 6 months. No third party candidates considered for this position.

We are looking for a principal platform architect to be a member of the AI Product Management team and support successfully transitioning AI or ML capabilities from potential to tangible business value. This person will be responsible for AI and ML solution definition and ideation, as well as vendor, product and model recommendations to ensure that solutions are scalable and effective. They will safeguard against point solutions (except where appropriate), and guide teams in finding the intersection between streamlined architecture and optimized value.

Scope:

• In pursuit of their goals, this Principal Platform Architect will leverage expertise in AI and ML vendors, especially Google—and their products (GCP, Google Vertex, and more), as well as the technical principles and best practices of AI and ML.
• They will partner closely with the AI COE and other stakeholders to idea and define solutions, and place capabilities with the appropriate vendors, products and platforms.
• They will also be responsible for communicating their recommendations and supporting details to technical and non-technical audiences alike, bringing others along on their decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides platform and solution functional, technical, and architectural expertise for AI/ML solutions
• Stays informed on the latest advancements in AI, ML, and related technologies, and relevant vendors, platforms and models. Accomplishes this through attending conferences, participating in demos, consuming whitepapers, independent research, and more
• Contributes to the AI and ML strategy, roadmap, priorities and functional architecture with knowledge of available products
• Collaborates with various stakeholders to drive a purposeful ecosystem of AI and ML applications (platforms, models, etc.)
• Demonstrates strong communication skills, including delivering presentations with technical details and creating stakeholder documentation to translate complex solutions into business outcomes
• Works with cross-functional technical, development and delivery teams to ensure smooth and efficient strategy execution
• Communicates relevant technologies, practices, platforms, and products to delivery teams and other stakeholders
• Partners to create proofs of concept where appropriate to determine the viability of new or different designs
• Together with other stake holders curates the overall AI and ML technology portfolio
• Collaborates with business, engineering and product stakeholders to drive holistic AI and ML implementations while maintaining constant focus on delivering business value

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and experience tackling challenges with technical solutions in fast-paced environments
• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ experience in product or platform architect (or similar) roles OR a master’s degree and 6 years’ experience in these roles OR a Ph.D. and 3 years’ experience in these roles
• 5 years of experience with AI and/or ML platforms
