Systems Administrator I

Job Description

We have a position for a Systems Administrator I with one of our clients in Atlanta, GA for an initial contract duration of 1 year. No third party candidates considered for this position.

Under general supervision works with a team of Administrators to provide remote systems support, troubleshooting, and problem management.  Assists in the implementation and monitoring of heterogeneous, multi-server environments at an enterprise level including one or more of the following Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, and UNIX.  Provide regular systems maintenance, performance monitoring, inventory, and documentation.  Provide primarily technical phone support to users, vendors, and operations personnel as needed. Job duties include:

• Provide day to day Level 2 support to include remote systems support, troubleshooting, and incident/problem management for staff and vendor support.
• Grant user access to Client applications as requested.
• Provide day to day implementation and monitoring of Client heterogeneous, multi-server infrastructure systems.
• Ensure that all systems and projects are adhering to all Client policies, especially those related to project management and information security.
• Ensure that there is system documentation for all systems; including technical diagrams, technical specifications, and support plans.
