We have 3 positions for a ESC Payroll Analyst with one of our clients in Maitland, FL for an initial contract duration of 5 months. No third party candidates considered for this position.

Job Description:

ESC Payroll Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Understand, uphold and improve the service model for consuming and delivering HR operational services
  • Collect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources, including core human resource information system (HRIS) and related modules, pay and time inputs and outputs, case management and telephony, surveys, interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors practices, and other sources.
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and yearly dashboard payroll reporting metrics and will participate in year-end activities.
  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to payroll processing and audits.
  • Identifies, confirms, and addresses data integrity issues as identified and through regular audits.
  • Understands and pulls relevant data in support of specific need and organizes in an appropriate format to explain findings, results and trends.
  • Helps to capture process standards and operating procedures to measure consistency in approach, delivery and results.
  • Researches best practices and emerging trends as well as metrics and analyses to recommend improvements for operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Participates in the development and delivery of training, process documentation, job aides and other references as well as preparation and facilitation of just-in-time changes in a variety of resources.
  • Works with and supports other ESC analysts and the Data Analytics Center of Excellence team to create and deliver reports, metrics, dashboards, and other presentation in a variety of areas.
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • May assist HR leadership with business and program analysis related to program intake or reengineering.
  • Provides support, coaching and training to payroll administrators.
  • Assist fellow team members, customers, and employees with complex payroll transactions.
  • Participate in defining and delivering reports and measurement for specified area.
  • Collaborate with change management, training and communication resource to document, educate and inform key stakeholders.
  • Supports strategic efforts, such as co-/out-sourcing, automation, acquisitions, volume organizational and staffing changes, and technology solutioning – from ideation through management.
  • Contributes, represents, and works within specific area knowledge to support HR capability in:
  • Time and Payroll operations and processing, technical aptitude, audit and controls, wage and hour laws, taxations, garnishments and multi-state pay processing OR/AND
  • Works with other analysts to document and share ESC success stories grounded in data-driven measurement.
  • Works with leaders to support other priorities and activities as assigned.
