Application Systems Architect IV

Job Description

We have a position for a Application Systems Architect IV with one of our clients in Salem, OR for an initial contract duration of 6 months. US citizens and all those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.

Client provides the technology systems and services that support more than 11,000 Client agency staff at local offices and facilities around the state. These systems and services help the two agencies determine client service program eligibility; provide medical, housing, food and job assistance; provide addiction, mental health, vocational and rehabilitative services; protect children, seniors and people with physical and/or developmental disabilities; process claims and benefits; manage provider licensing and state hospital facilities; and promote and protect the state public health.

Client provides management support for Client IT projects, systems architecture, databases, IT asset and change management. Client also coordinates network and computing operations with the Client Data Center.

Client requires a Senior Enterprise Messaging System Administrator. Contractor shall provide senior (Tier IV) technical administration of On-Premise and Cloud-Based Microsoft Office Service Platforms. Contractor shall provide expertise for overall architectural strategy, collaboration, interoperability, implementation and development of information systems. Contractor shall work collaboratively to develop enterprise standards, policies and guidelines to ensure appropriate application, implementation, and compatibility with architectural, industry and technical standards. Contractor shall provide expert advice on technology applications in support of mission critical and important business processes. Contractor supports and coordinates all levels of modeling, system architecture development/implementation, and technological infrastructure design (integration, interoperability, etc.) and mentors/supports the technical staff in their various roles and responsibilities.

Proposed key persons should have significant expertise in the field of systems architecture.

Proposed key persons should have current knowledge of industry best practices and trends in the field of systems architecture.

Proposed key persons should have mastered the concepts, methodologies, techniques and tools of system development, and have in-depth knowledge of most of them.

Proposed key persons should have the ability to select, and adapt where necessary, those which are appropriate and support their use by a team, and participate in the advancement of systems delivery concepts, methodologies, techniques and tools.

Proposed key persons should possess the deep technical knowledge that allows them to integrate portions of technology that support a single technology area, but also possess a breadth of knowledge in multiple technology areas that allow them to integrate between the various technologies in use in an enterprise environment.
