Job Description

The Site Merchandising Manager supports the strategy, development and execution of the customer experience on Client to drive sales from Client existing customer base.   The position will be responsible for helping to drive incremental revenue by analyzing site data, developing and executing online sales and marketing campaigns, and applying learnings to improve the user experience.  The ideal candidate is innovative, enthusiastic, and customer-focused with great judgment and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Reviews site experience daily and tests any site enhancements to identify issues and opportunities with website navigation, pricing and product accuracy
  • Analyzes site metrics and related data to identify opportunities to improve merchandising and the customer experience across the site
  • Helps drive improvements to the site experience through execution of strategic tests and cross-functional projects that will improve conversion rate and drive revenue growth
  • Partners across Customer Strategy, Marketing, Creative, Pricing and Legal to drive collaborative projects to completion and ensure cohesive customer experience across all touch points
  • Prepares presentations and reporting to share learnings from all tests, best practices and future scenarios to improve conversion
  • Manages the marketing and merchandising calendar and the accompanying assets
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in content or digital marketing for an ecommerce and/or transactional website 
  • Working knowledge of modern digital technologies, such as content management systems, targeting and web analytics platforms
  • Passionate about the customer with a strong interest in understanding and driving user behavior
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Adobe Marketing Cloud experience desired, but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across different teams
  • Self-motivated, independent individual who can perform at optimal levels with little guidance
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and influence others effectively
  • Excellent critical thinking skills; using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
