We have a position for a Project Manager with one of our clients in Parsippany, NJ for an initial contract duration of 1 year 1 month. US citizens and all those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.

Details of Position:

Manage specific cost savings initiatives as part of our IT Transformation. The resource will be expected to assist the business unit BRM team in defining new processes, new roles, and/or tools in support of maturing the BRM team capabilities.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Create or maintain a plan that achieves the goals and objectives of the project and aligns with the organization’s overall transformation strategy.
  • Define, schedule and accurately estimate the task duration to develop and maintain a realistic schedule.
  • Keep the project within or under Budget and ensure that costs savings identified are realized.
  • Frequent and open communications with stakeholders and team members, reporting on progress and being open to their feedback.
  • Issue identification, tracking and quick resolution. Risks identification, tracking and mitigation planning.
  • Ensure the program is progressing as planned. Collect project data, such as status reports, and report deviations/adjust plans. BRM Responsibilities:
  • Work with BRM team to improve and monitor BRM maturity and to promote Business Process Management capability. Identify and support opportunities of BRM process improvements. Assist with BRM job descriptions and RACI Matrices. Assess processes from pre-project ideation through value optimization/tracking- evaluate proposals, build business cases, determine business capability roadmaps, prioritize demand. Support business readiness in the definition of cost/benefits analysis. Support tools pilots that intend to enable an Agile BRM.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Certified Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP) or Business Relationship Manager (CBRM®) certification is preferred of 5 years’ experience with different development methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, scrum, Kanban, SAFe). 5+ years of experience facilitating development and implementation of business initiatives/projects and the IT Business Relationship Management function
