Senior Access Control Technician

Job Description

We have a direct-hire position for a Senior Access Control Technician with one of our clients in Dallas, TX. No third party candidates considered for this position.

Client is seeking a Senior Access Control Technician with 5+ years of experience to support the installation, integration, and maintenance of enterprise access control and security camera systems across multi-site properties. This role supports the Client' scloud and hybrid access platforms, enabling secure, remote, and scalable access management for clients.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service access control systems across single and multi-facility environments.
• Integrate access control with IP-based and cloud/hybrid security camera systems.
• Perform low-voltage wiring, termination, and system troubleshooting.
• Support centralized, remote access management platforms and credentialing systems.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and connectivity issues across access and camera systems.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project documentation.
• Travel to client sites using a company-provided work truck to perform installations and service.
• Ensure installations follow security, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in access control and low-voltage security systems.
• Hands-on experience with access control platforms and IP camera systems.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage cabling, door hardware, and controllers.
• Familiarity with cloud or hybrid-hosted security solutions.
• Valid drivers license and ability to work onsite in Dallas-area locations.
