Litigation Docketing Specialist
with one of our clients in
Remote
for an initial contract duration of
6 months.
No third party candidates considered for this position.
The ideal candidate will have a degree from an accredited college or university, a paralegal certificate, or equivalent education and experience. A minimum of two years of docketing experience in a law firm setting is required. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills, and a strong work ethic, with the ability to take direction without constant supervision. Prior experience computing deadlines in both federal and state courts is essential, with experience in CompuLaw Vision is required, and familiarity with rules-based calendaring software such as Milana considered helpful.
Candidates should also have knowledge of the litigation lifecycle, legal procedures, terminology, and California court rules in both federal and state courts. They must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and effectively summarize findings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy. The ability to work well under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and adapt to a fluid, ever-changing environment is critical. Candidates must be service-oriented, able to work collaboratively in a team setting, and demonstrate strong proficiency in MS Office. Finally, the ability to work overtime when required is necessary.
