Job Description

We have a position for a Project Manager-ERP Transformations with one of our clients in Atlanta, GA for an initial contract duration of 5 months. No third party candidates considered for this position.

The Project Manager-ERP Transformations is responsible for driving enterprise-wide ERP modernization initiatives, with a primary focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role leads systems, process, and organizational alignment across multiple operating companies while partnering closely with C-level leadership. The leader will shape strategic ERP direction, ensure successful execution, and guide the organization through a multi-entity transformation journey.

Key Objectives

  • Lead the organizations ERP transformation strategy and execution.
  • Partner with C-suite leaders and presidents of operating companies to influence change and drive alignment.
  • Provide hands-on leadership across systems, processes, and people to ensure successful D365 adoption and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead largescale D365 ERP transformation initiatives across multiple operating companies.
  • Serve as the primary ERP transformation partner to the executive team, providing strategic and architectural guidance.
  • Align business processes, systems, and organizational structures to support enterprise modernization.
  • Oversee ERP governance, roadmaps, design decisions, and cross-functional change management.
  • Mentor and manage a team of ERP professionals and project leaders.
  • Facilitate collaboration between operational teams, technical leads, and executive stakeholders.
  • Ensure strong execution leadership while maintaining strategic oversight of architecture and future-state planning.
  • Support integration efforts across multiple platforms (Sage, Penta, AS400, etc.) where relevant.
  • Maintain excellence in communication, documentation, and executive reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of ERP experience, including the most recent 5 years in a transformation lead role.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (critical requirement).
  • Proven success leading enterprise-wide ERP transformations in complex, multi-entity environments.
  • Strong strategic mindset with demonstrable architectural oversight experience.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence across C-suite and operational levels without relying on title.
  • Willingness to travel 3040% for onsite leadership across operating companies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Sage, Penta, or AS400 environments.
  • Microsoft D365 Architecture Certification.
  • Background supporting multi-entity or multi-operating company ERP deployments.
  • Industry experience in Oil & Gas (nice to have, not required).
