Overview:
An Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to join its Business and Distribution Litigation team in the Denver office. This role provides high-level administrative and litigation support to attorneys in a fast-paced environment and is critical to ensuring the efficient management of day-to-day practice operations.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide comprehensive litigation support, including preparing, revising, and finalizing correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents, while managing electronic and court filings across state and federal jurisdictions, including Colorado, Texas, and California. You will coordinate depositions, meetings, and travel arrangements, maintain attorney calendars, and assist with billing, time entry, and expense reporting. This role also includes running conflict checks, opening new matters, maintaining client files, and supporting overall practice operations by anticipating next steps and ensuring deadlines and priorities are effectively managed. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate brings strong litigation support experience and the ability to independently manage a busy desk with confidence and accuracy. This individual demonstrates excellent judgment, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to supporting attorneys and contributing to a positive, team-oriented office culture.
- 5+ years of litigation legal administrative experience within a law firm
- Experience with state and federal e-filing, including familiarity with CO, TX, and CA courts preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with document management, billing, and time entry systems
