Job Description

We have a direct-hire position for a Service Technician with one of our clients in Atlanta, GA. No third party candidates considered for this position.

 1 Role in either Dallas, Charlotte, or Atlanta

Service Technicians install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair services and equipment for residential and business customers. This includes internet, fiber, phone, and television services.

  • Install and activate fiber-optic, internet, voice, and television services.
  • Troubleshoot and repair service outages and connectivity issues.
  • Test, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment and cabling.
  • Educate customers on how to use AT&T products and services.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Climb ladders, poles, and work in confined spaces when necessary.
  • Use handheld devices and software to document work orders and service records.
  • Follow safety procedures and company standards.
  • Maintain a professional customer-service-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment (often up to 80 pounds).
  • Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic computer and technology skills.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Climbing ladders and utility poles.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and standing.
  • Working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other conditions.
  • Lifting and moving heavy tools and equipment.
