We have a position for a Order Coordinator I with one of our clients in Charlotte, NC for an initial contract duration of 1 year.

The Order Coordinator I is an entry-level position responsible for the accurate entry and processing of service orders. This role supports order fulfillment by reviewing documentation, entering data into internal systems, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet delivery timelines. The Order Coordinator I learns the foundational processes, tools, and service types required in a fast-paced telecom environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports for management as required. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management, including customer account research, special reports and projects.
  • Review and validate sales orders for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies.
  • Enter service orders into the companys billing systems.
  • Track orders and follow up with internal teams to ensure timely progression through each stage.
  • Communicate order status updates and potential delays to internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Customer Support).
  • Identify and escalate order discrepancies or missing information promptly.
  • Support audits and data quality initiatives by ensuring all records are up to date and accurate.
  • Participate in training sessions and develop knowledge of telecom services, including voice, data, internet, and transport circuits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in business, telecommunications, or related field preferred.
  • Relevant experience (data entry, order processing, customer service, or telecom-related work) preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of telecommunications terminology (e.g., circuits, bandwidth, service IDs) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must live in Segra footprint of Charlotte, NC or Columbia, SC. position will be hybrid.
