Graphic Production Designer II

Job Description

We have a position for a Graphic Production Designer II with one of our clients in Remote for an initial contract duration of 4 months. No third party candidates considered for this position.

The Creative Production Designer II manages multiple client accounts and is responsible for creating the design elements that reflect a client’s digital 1:1 Marketing (email and direct mail) campaign goals. This position requires taking a leading role on interpreting campaign specifications to deliver integrated components with strong visual impact.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the design and development of email marketing design and direct mail.
• Operates effectively as an individual for quick turnaround of design assets and design prototypes.
• Responsible for meeting expectations and deliverables on time and of high quality.
• Effectively designed in a clean, well-structured, easily maintainable format.
• Possesses creative, technical, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments.
• Possesses solid understanding of design and user experience, leveraging data where possible to ensure maximizing usability.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible, and team-oriented environment.

Job Requirements:

Required Knowledge and skills

Education: A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred or 2+ years of relevant work experience. 

Target Years of experience: 3-5 years

Details: 

• An online portfolio or PDF demonstrating design proficiency.
• Fundamental understanding of design principles, with strong knowledge of typography and image composition.
• Adobe CC experience in InDesign and Photoshop
• Experience with a wide variety of operational and process-related functionalities including design, front-end development, and compliance standards.
• Experience in email marketing software such as Bee Free, Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
• Ability to demonstrate basic HTML knowledge

What are your top 3-5 MUST HAVEs OR REQUIRED skillset:

• Email Marketing Design Experience w/ portfolio examples
• Prior work in an email builder tool (ex. Mailchimp, Bee Free, Constant Contact)
• Ability to demonstrate basic HTML knowledge
• Adobe CC experience in InDesign and Photoshop
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, copy hierarchy and brand compliance.
