Job Description

We have a position for a ID & Access Administrator I with one of our clients in Atlanta, GA for an initial contract duration of 1 year.

The Identity and Access Administrator is responsible for processing requests to add, change or revoke access rights and to make sure that only authorized users are granted the right to use a service within agreed SLAs. The ID and Access Administrator is also responsible for managing the Identity Management system, provisioning of applications into the identity/access management system and administration of access profiles. Responsibilities include:

  • Processes requests for access and the addition of new groups, systems, applications or users in a timely manner.
  • Keeps and maintains accurate access control records, working documents and databases.
  • Ensures system security by making sure that system access is appropriate to the defined business need.
  • Ensures access controls meets the requirements as defined by security policy and license agreements.
  • Ensures audit, modification and revocation of access rights is carried out.
  • Assists in the investigation and resolution of problems relating to system and application access.
  • Ensures remedial action is taken in event of incidents and threats caused by unauthorized access.

Professional Skills:

  • Assist users in defining their access rights and privileges, and operate agreed logical access controls and security systems.
  • Maintain agreed identity/access records and documentation.
  • Ensure that requests are handled according to agreed procedures.
  • Ensure that documentation of the supported components is available and in an appropriate form for those providing support.
  • Create and maintain support documentation.
  • Initiate and monitor actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems and services.
  • Assist with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.
  • Carry out agreed system software maintenance tasks.
