Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, forward thinking Business Intelligence (BI) professional to support the enterprise Client Decision Analytics Group and develop custom Client BI solutions used across 50+ facilities within multiple divisions.  The Decision Analytics Group functions as a Center of Excellence for all things data related for all of Client.  This group creates sustainable value and competitive advantage by leveraging analytics, information, technology, and actionable insights across the enterprise while focusing on futuristic possibilities of analytics. This role will have the opportunity to leverage the latest BI and Analytics technologies and partner with our financial community to expand our cost Modeling and decision-making capabilities. 

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

• Hands on lead for data consolidation and syndication (from various source systems including machine and sensor data in batch, near real-time, and real-time).
• Develop in data quality processes and standard and build security of data assets.
• Participate in collaborative software design and development of the new Enterprise Data Lake on cloud technologies including tools like RedShift, S3, Lambda, Glue and other AWS services.
• Manage own learning and contribute to technical skill building of the team.
• Embrace the engineering mindset and systems thinking. Collaborate with IT Architect to design forward looking data solutions.
• Develop deep technical expertise in the data movement patterns, practices and tools.
• Lead and participate in experiments involved with building out an Enterprise Data Lake.
• Support various business users in their need for existing and new data elements and subject areas.
• Demonstrate technical, team, and solution leadership through strong communication skills to recommend actionable, data-driven solutions .
• Collaborate with team members, business stakeholders and data SMEs to elicit requirements and to develop a technical design and then implement a data lake.
