We have a position for a Instructional Designer with one of our clients in Atlanta, GA for an initial contract duration of 4 months. No third party candidates considered for this position.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Partner with Learning Partners, Boundary Partners, and Subject-Matter-Experts (SME) to identify and translate key tasks, processes, skills, and knowledge into a training solution that builds the insights and skills required to help our team members achieve defined success targets.
  • Develop conceptual design documents, detailed design documents, storyboards, project plans, timelines, and issue/resolution logs.
  • Own the design and production of all training content such as: Instructor Led and self-paced courses, technical documentation, help systems or training manuals, workbooks, presentations, practice exercises, case studies, simulations, job aids, testing, CBTs, demos, videos, SOPs, testing environments, SharePoint websites and other multimedia.
  • Develop Instructor Led Training, online remote training, online self-paced training, training videos, quick reference guides as well as other creative training materials.
  • Design assessments and other evaluation tools including but not limited to knowledge checks and quizzes.
  • Validate design scope and requirements for new projects.
  • Prepare clear learning objectives that reflect the required performance and meet the business objectives.
  • Ability to apply various design methodologies such as the industry standard (ADDIE) model, Agile/Rapid instructional design practices in the creation of all content and materials.
  • Follow established templates, documentation and content standards to ensure a consistent end-user experience, i.e., the look and feel of materials, templates, processes, technology tools, and translation, etc.
  • Produce innovative training solutions with a view towards continuous improvement.
