We have a position for a Business Analyst III with one of our clients in Atlanta, GA for an initial contract duration of 10 months. No third party candidates considered for this position.

Additional Information:

I would like the resource to be local to Atlanta.  The expected time in the office is not set, I would say the moments that matter such as important meetings, and connecting with stakeholders.  My estimate would be 1 -2 days per week on average.

Role Summary

The Business Analyst III (BA) role is recognized as a creative thought leader and visionary in process and underlying tools for marketing and sales process automation at client Business. The BA will support boundary partners’ needs (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Order Fulfilments, Engineering, Construction, and Product functional leads) with an ability to translate needs into technical specifications within CRM/ Service Delivery tools.  The BA will also work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on ideas, solutions, and solution implementation and drive desired results for the business.

The BA is routinely called upon to apply mastery of existing and emerging technologies, best practices, and processes. This role will also serve as an SME, provide tactical guidance, and support teammates (contractors or employees) in a leadership capacity as needed. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Facilitate creation, refinement, and appropriate delegation of Business Requirements utilizing agile or Business Process and Analysis (BPA) methodologies as determined by lead
  • Capture agreed-upon business objectives and processes to define system requirements from internal customers, cross-functional team members and external vendors.
  • Manage Scoring (approving) and claiming processes while ensuring Use Cases are easy to comprehend and traceable.
  • Document the impact of system changes on end-users, internal and external customers
  • Develop and document System Requirements (SRQs), process flows and use cases.
  • Update and assign SRQs to suitable Business Requirements within the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
  • Conduct SRQ reviews with stakeholders to ensure completeness and adherence to business requirements
  • Review, test and debug design plans in pre-production environments (e.g., QA and UAT) to ensure requirements are met and RTM is maintained.
  • Provide project status (e.g., progress, issues, dependencies, and risks)
  • Participate in business strategy and portfolio discussions.
  • Develop business knowledge from several functional areas.
  • Share acquired knowledge with/and mentor team members.
  • Develop relationships and trust among the team, key stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Facilitates meetings.
