We have a position for a Associate Assistant Field Technician with one of our clients in San Bernardino County, CA for an initial contract duration of 1 year 6 months. US citizens and all those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.

Candidate must possess the proven ability to install and setup new IT equipment, (Laptop/workstation, Docking station, Monitors, Keyboard/Mouse, and laptop cable lock).  Old equipment will be re-claimed and repackaged for retirement.  Perform basic inventory management.  Identify and escalate incidents related to the installation to the team leader. May also including initial workstation test and configuration to local printers.

  • Candidate will work as a two-member team according to a pre-defined deployment schedule in tandem with a dedicated scheduling staff/task assigner.  The ability to maintain defined appointments/customer contact is required.  
  • The candidate will escalate any incidents to leads and management where necessary.
  • Must maintain a first-class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner.
  • Must accurately record, update and document information regarding the deployed hardware using the defined deployment processes.
  • Must maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization.  

Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs hardware unboxing, installation of new, move and remove of old based upon prescribed procedures and processes. Immediately escalates unresolved issues or problems.
  • Supports documentation maintenance by updating information and changes as directed.
