Senior Data Engineer

Job Description

We have a position for a Senior Data Engineer with one of our clients in North Hills, NY for an initial contract duration of 7 months.

• Working experience in data modelling methodologies (e.g. Star, Snowflake, Relational), data modelling tools (Erwin preferred), data access, and data storage techniques
• Working experience in performing data profiling and analysing data flows.
• Working experience in setting up data processing frameworks for high volume heterogeneous data using ETL Tool (MS SSIS preferred)
• Working experience in the development and tuning of MS SQL Server Database (e.g. Tables, Indexes, Views, Stored Procedures, Functions)
• Working experience working with Relational databases (e.g. Oracle, DB2) and No SQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
• Working experience with business intelligence tools and platforms (MS SSRS, Tableau preferred)
• Working experience with application life cycle methodologies (e.g. waterfall, agile, iterative)
