We have 2 positions for a Senior Technical Business Analyst with one of our clients in Atlanta, GA for an initial contract duration of 11 months.

Consults with internal customers and external vendors to capture agreed-upon business objectives and processes. Performs research and fact-finding to determine business requirements for development of end-user programs, operational procedures and support. Communicates these processes and their implications to technical and non-technical contributors to ensure that applications accurately meet business users' goals. Business Analysts create system requirements, collaborating with the design teams to determine that application, database, & other system impacts based on the requirements. The Business Analyst works closely with other members of the technical teams to ensure all requirements are addressed in the solution design.

  • Facilitate creation of Business Requirements following a traditional approach, or using the Business Process and Analysis (BPA) methodology as determined by the project sponsor
  • Manage Scoring (approving) and Claiming processes with Business and Technology stakeholders to review and refine business requirements and use cases to ensure they are clear, concise and traceable; and to ensure business requirements will be satisfied by the appropriate teams / applications.
  • Identify project stakeholders, risks and benefits of alternate designs; document assumptions; assess project impact of system changes to users, internal and external customers
  • Develop System Requirements (SRQs), including process flows and use cases
  • Conduct SRQ reviews with project stakeholders and document consumers to ensure completeness and adherence to business requirements
  • Consult with internal customers, cross-functional team members and external vendors to capture agreed-upon business objectives and processes to define system requirements
  • Update and map SRQs to Business Requirements in the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
  • Review Architecture, Engineering and Application Development designs and QA / UAT test plans to ensure requirements are met and the RTM is updated as required
  • Provide BA support for software testing and debugging plans to ensure requirements are met
  • Provide status reporting for project progress, issues, dependencies and risks

ACTUAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Our Client has an exciting opportunity for Senior Technical Business Analyst with experience in Salesforce to be a member of the CRM team. He or she will be responsible for supporting existing CRM systems as well as aid the implementation of new functionality and new systems.

Major tasks - As part of the CRM team they will ultimately be responsible for aiding in the creation of an enterprise-wide CRM solution.

  • Document business needs; identify gaps between business needs and standard CRM application functionality; design and document solutions that fill the gaps; and provide detailed business requirements specifications for Salesfore.com developers.
  • Develop and maintain end user training documentation and deliver training to users as required.
  • Develop and maintain business process documentation and consider compliance in all business process analysis and redesign activities. - Support, analyze, and resolve critical production application issues as required.
  • Construct summary and detailed views in Salesforce.com (SFDC) for all CRM subject areas (campaign, lead, prospect, opportunity, pipeline, account, and revenue activities). - Provide guidance for system/process workflow template development and data filtering criteria within CRM systems.
  • Ensure consistency of CRM usage conventions, compliance with best practices, and integrity of data.
  • Perform and/or provide oversight on mass data uploads into CRM systems.
  • Implement new departments into Salesforce CRM platform as required.
  • Research and implement new releases, patches, and system updates of CRM system/s as required.
  • Lead small and mid-size projects from inception through implementation following SDLC and project management best practices.
  • Drive user adoption of CRM systems to ensure compliance and success of the tool.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to Jr team members as needed.
  • Support and implement various non Salesforce.com CRM/Marketing applications as required.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
