Job Description

We have a position for a Web Designer with one of our clients in Atlanta, GA for an initial contract duration of 1 year. No third party candidates considered for this position.

WEBDES: Plans, develops, and executes web strategy in support of producing customer (RGU) and revenue growth in both the residential and business segments. Ensures company website is rending properly and guaranteeing the best user experience for consumers.

  • Develops and maintains website designs and layout to support the brand image, marketing strategies, and online sales.
  • Reviews elements of website design from a usability perspective to ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives to also include ecommerce & web advertising.
  • Establishes the organizations website standards, techniques & methods.
  • Analyzes website technology trends to identify new techniques and ensure optimal site design.
  • Designs a diverse mix of Web material, graphical user interfaces, and multimedia delivered for the Web.
  • Digitizes and digitally edits source multimedia elements (e.g., sound, video, animation) using various authoring platforms.
  • Requires familiarity with streaming media concepts and techniques, including digital video and audio compression standards such as MP3, WAV, and MPEG.
  • Develops creative, clear written material for the organization's Web sites in support of the organization's marketing programs in accordance with the established editorial and style guidelines.
  • Translates marketing information and marketing Web site customer interfaces to support local market sales and marketing.
  • Ensures content accuracy and style interpretation of translations in accordance with the organization's editorial guidelines.
  • Makes sure that graphic images, symbols and colors are acceptable with local cultural and language standards while adhering to the organization's stylistic guidelines.

  • Actively engages with every available source to understand the goals, business requirements and technology constraints that impact your designed solutions
  • Formulates theories and data-driven experience solutions via a solid understanding of user interaction data and user-centered design (UCD)
  • Defines quick-win recommendations that can be immediately implemented for an improved experience and to drive short-term business results
  • Collaborates in strategic experience design discussions with the internal team to improve the consumer's experience in the medium and long term
  • Creates wireframes and interactive prototypes in Axure that are functional, scalable, and data-driven, while effectively maintaining our corporate style/brand frameworks and upholding industry design standards (e.g., usability, accessibility, mobile frameworks, etc.)
  • Presents and excellently communicates the recommended experience solutions to business stakeholders to gain buy-in on the recommendations
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with technology partners on UX Design strategy, functionality, and processes
  • Able to effectively articulate his/her position in a persuasive way using data, industry insights, customer knowledge to tell a compelling story that supports recommendations
  • Leads the validation of experiences with the use of testing and collaboration with your internal data team to capitalize on missed opportunities
