Job Description

We have a position for a Analyst I with one of our clients in Atlanta, GA for an initial contract duration of 10 months.

This position is responsible for telecommunications access and interconnection revenue management, disputes and collections, and CABS billing and payment support for Client. Primary areas of concentration include carrier collections, and disputes analysis and management.  In addition to collections, this position is responsible for revenue assurance, payment support and account management with a high level of interface with carrier customers and internal legal, regulatory, and financial representatives.  The scope of this position also expands to other emerging technology billing services.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with Carrier Access Billing (CABS) dispute process for Client
  • Research and compile information needed to resolve customer usage and facility disputes
  • Analysis of AMA, SONUS and Call Detail Records (CDR)
  • Identify and implement improvements in the dispute process
  • Interface with regulatory for Interconnect /MSA/Tariff interpretation and verification
  • Administer claims within CABS and the claims management database
  • Prepare monthly reports for finance for disputes that may require reserves
  • Perform root cause analysis on issues causing disputes and document findings
  • Understanding the effects of Interconnection Agreements/Master Service Agreements/Access Tariffs on billing
  • Coordinate work efforts with other internal departments
  • Transfer knowledge gained through experiences to other Client employees
  • Management of Carrier Access Billing (CABS) collections process for Client Communications:
  • Work with aging report to identify collection opportunities
  • Manage escalation process for collection issues
  • Identify and implement improvements in collection processes
