Solutions Architect

Job Description

We have a position for a Solutions Architect with one of our clients in Atlanta, GA for an initial contract duration of 6 months. No third party candidates considered for this position.

Our powerhouse team is actively seeking a Solutions Architect to join our rapidly growing agency. The architect’s responsibilities will range from working independently to collaboratively on multiple, simultaneously complex projects while serving as a technical consultant of projects relating to architecting, designing, developing, testing, and implementing solutions across many platforms and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building and integrating technology systems to meet our client’s needs across multiple platforms and technologies
• Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it
• Provide guidance in product, component and vendor selection as appropriate for specific projects
• Resolving technical problems as they arise
• Providing supervision and guidance to development teams
• Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
• Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented
• Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have
• Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets
• Knowledge of UML (Operating Platform Models, Deployment Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Activity Diagrams…)
• Wide variety of system knowledge (AWS, Serverless, CMS, Salesforce, Analytics..)
• Managing teams and organization of teams (Source Code Control, Jira/Issue Tracking, Agile/Scrum)
• Varying delivery of technical information from C-Level summary to in-depth Developer conversations
• Poly-language capable (knows any combo of 2 or more: .NET/C#, Java, Javascript, Python, etc…
• This is not just a development work. The right candidate will need to be comfortable/able to sit in on client meetings.
