Job Description

We have a position for a Project/Program Manager - Level III with one of our clients in Middletown, CT for an initial contract duration of 3 years.

The PM will work directly with DAS/BEST and Client staff as well as Juniper, IPC, and Crown Castle PMs to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.

The incumbent should be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of others. Will report to a manager or head of a Client.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal and external resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of PSDN Refresh project
  • Use the SOW as a guide to ensure that all project milestones and deliverables are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress (in conjunction with the project plans of the vendors/resellers)
  • Manage changes to the project scope and schedule using appropriate verification techniques
  • Prepare reports for management and the stakeholders regarding the status of the project
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Communicate and notify clients of the schedules as it is developed and the impact
  • Delegate project tasks to staff members as needed
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with PMs, clients as well as other staff members
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Attend meetings and training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
  • Experience leading telecommunication effort is a plus
