Job Description

We have a position for a Public Health Applications Administrator with one of our clients in Lincoln, NE for an initial contract duration of 11 months. US citizens and all those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.

Applications Administrator

• Under general supervision is responsible for supporting the Epidemiology and Informatics team with their day-to-day operations and maintenance of software applications and related databases.
• Performs application configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and testing of application performance, ensuring reliable operation for all users, and troubleshooting system failures or computer hardware and software issues.
• May conduct training and support other application users within the organization.

Public Health Applications include but are not limited to the following:

• RED Cap is a secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases.
• While RED Cap can be used to collect virtually any type of data in any environment (including compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, FISMA, HIPAA, and GDPR), it is specifically geared to support online and offline data capture for research studies and operations.
• Moodle is a learning platform designed to provide educators, administrators, and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalized learning environments.
