Job Description

The Billing Support Specialist contributes to company objectives by providing frontline, billing-related service, and call support to internal and external clients as well as partners and vendors. 

The Billing Support team is the first line of contact for customers with billing-related questions and interacts with all other Accounting Operations teams, including Contracts Processing, Accounts Receivable, Billing Ops, and Collections as well as F&I, DMS, and other Business leaders and Sales teams.

The expectations and responsibilities of the role include:

  • Answer inbound inquiries, via phone and email, from external and internal clients related to Billing
  • Reviewing, understanding, and conversing with clients regarding their contract terms, invoicing, and accounts receivable balances
  • Presenting information to clients clearly and concisely as well as documenting this information appropriately in Salesforce and SAP
  • Collaborate within the Finance Team (Contracts, Accounts Receivable, Billing Ops, and Collections) as well as other internal teams (e.g., Sales, Retention, Business Leadership) as needed to resolve all client inquiries

Required Skills

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

  • Experience with Salesforce and SAP preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be able to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations, and speak confidently to internal and external clients

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Customer Service Experience:  2-4 yrs
  • Experience in the Auto Retailing industry preferred
